Printing diagrams with graphic commentary

Answer

The data format of Fritz and ChessBase supports, as well as classical forms of annotation such as variations and text, coloured markings on the chess board. With the help of marked arrows or squares it is possible to highlight on the chess board specific ideas and plans so that they are better understood straight off.

If you have a colour printer you can change your usual screen view for representing diagrams and printing from Black/White.

The relevant setting can be found under File – Print – Page setup.

In the “Page setup” dialog there es the tab “Print diagram”.

Under “Style” you choose for your print-out the option “Board on screen”.

Now when the diagram is printed, the way it is represented on screen will be reproduced.
